Ms. Kiely's 4th class went on a big adventure this week all the way to the Seal Rescue Centre in Courtown, Wexford.
They have been working with the Marine Institute as part of their Explorers Education Programme outreach activities. They have been learning about the importance of our marine environment and our ocean. As our school is beside the bay, it is crucial for our pupils to learn as much as possible about our neighbours in the sea. They had a wonderful day learning all about the seals and getting up close with these wonderful creatures. One of our very talented parents made a plaque to commemorate this unique experience - another first for our Baysiders! Check out the photos below -
